Welcome back to 2nd thread of  This chipset comparison series. How's this month going on ? Last time I compared Snapdragon 675 V/s 710. So Today lets talk about 730 V/s 712.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 features 
6 kyro 470 silver high efficiency core based on Cortex- A55 clocked at 1.8 GHz along with 2 high performace kyro 470 gold based on cortex A-76 clocked at 2.2 GHz. On the GPU side 730 integrates the Adreno 618 GPU operation at 500 MHz with vulkan 1.1 API support (vulkan 1.1 graphics driver uses 20% less power than open GL ES and integardes enhanced developer tools to improve gaming and battery life). API Support:-OpenCL 2.0 Full, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, VUlkan 1.1.

Whereas Snapdragon 712 features 6 kyro 360 silver high efficieny cores based on cortex-A55 clocked at 1.7GHz and 2 high performance kyro 360 gold core based on cortex A-75 clocked at 2.3 Ghz. Snapdragon 712 integrates the Adreno 616 GPU operation at 550MHz. API Support:- OpenCL 2.0 Full, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, VUlkan 1.0

In Terms of connectivity both of the chipsets features similar connectivity. X15 modem with LTE Peak Download speed upto 800 mbps(3x20 MHz carrier aggregation upto 256-QAM And 4x4 MIMO on 2 Aggregated carriers). And 
LTE Peak Upload speed upto 150Mbps (2x20 MHz carrier aggregation upto 64 QAM). But Snapdragon 730 is Wi-Fi 6 ready features to support fast and robust connected experiences at increased range in 2.4 and 5 Ghz Wi-Fi Bands.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Comes with Spectra 350 image signal processor, can handle a single camera sensor upto 192MP, Dual camera upto 22MP with Zero shutter lag and hybrid autofocus and front camera upto 36MP. In terms of video recording, it has the capability to record4K at 30fps and 1080p at 120fps and video playback upto 4K ultra HD premium video And Codec Support:-H.2659(HEVC), H.264(AVC), VP8, VP9.

Whereas Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 comes with Spectra 250 image processor which can handle a single camera sensor upto 192MP. It can support dual camera of upto 16MP with zero shutter lag and hybrid autofocus .The chipsets comes with upto 32 MP selfie camera support. When it comes to video recording, it can record 4K UHD video at 30fps and 1080p at 120fps. With same Codec Support as 730.

Both The chipsets Support Qualcomm Latest Quick Charge 4+ Technology. But 730 Is Fabricated on 8nm LPP process whereas 712 on 10nm LPP Process which means 730 Is more battery efficient, Less heat while heavy gaming usage also provides more usable space inside upcoming products to support Huge batteries or slim design.
